How do I use IsaCrunch hulled hemp seed during my Isagenix Program?
Make IsaCrunch hulled hemp seed part of your Isagenix Program by enjoying three teaspoons a day on Shake and/or Soup Days. Try adding it to your IsaLean Shakes, IsaLean Soups, or as part of your 400- to 600-calorie meals for extra taste and nutrition. If you need a snack on Cleanse Days, use IsaCrunch as a healthy, whole-food snack.

Why is a 3:1 ratio of omega-6 to omega-3 fatty acids ideal for health?
It is estimated that the ancestral hunter-gatherer diet provided a 3:1 ratio of omega-6 linolenic acid to omega-3 linoleic acid. The ratio is also considered optimum for your health and your heart. As you follow your Isagenix program, a correct ratio of essential fatty acids is important to support a healthy lifestyle.

What makes hemp seed protein superior and highly digestible?
Hemp seed protein is efficient to digest being one third edestin and two-thirds albumin (containing all nine essential amino acids). Hemp seed protein also contains no trypsin inhibitors that can cause upset stomach (typically found in legumes) and contains no gluten.

Is hemp growth allowed in the United States?
Hemp cannot be cultivated in most parts of the United States because it's from the same species and looks similar to marijuana (see FAQ below for details). Hemp products, however—such as sterilized hemp seed, oil, fabrics, and derivative products—can be imported from other countries. IsaCrunch hulled hemp seed is imported from Canada.

Are hemp and marijuana similar?
Hemp and marijuana are two of the common names used for the plant species Cannabis sativa L. Different cultivars of Cannabis sativa L. will have various levels of the psychoactive ingredient THC. The hemp we use in IsaCrunch comes from a Canadian cultivar and contains no measurable amount of THC.

Will IsaCrunch hulled hemp seed cause me to fail a drug test?
No. IsaCrunch is 100% non-psychoactive and absolutely safe. It will not cause a person to fail a drug test over short- or long-term use.

How much should I eat each day?
